WRITING FOR PLEASURE
This Group still meets on the 3rd Friday each month at 10 am. The group has a really enjoyable time writing short pieces, reading them to each other and comparing notes. They currently have room for one more person and anyone interested in trying them out should contact Michael Goldman.

At the September 2011general meeting members of the Creative Writing group performed a short sketch entitled "Our Family" which they had written and produced. We all enjoyed the saga of the rather dysfunctional Standish family and we are looking forward to a possible second instalment to find out what happens next. The photo shows Mike Goldman, Mollie Woodbine, Sue Roberts and Peter Willgoose as the Standishes ably supported by Rod Howgate as the narrator and Anita Goldman as prompt.
