Several new members have joined us on our return from the summer break. The Christmas card writing season will soon be with us all and so we are getting prepared for this by learning how to produce address labels. Once these labels are set up it is an easy job to edit them for future years. Although we would like help those with absolutely no previous computer experience to become “digitally included”, we are unable to do so. This is because the screen content of new computers bought today looks quite different to that of the older computers available to us for teaching purposes. Beginners find this very confusing. For those who need help getting started there are various private tutors and organisations such as Age Concern who offer tuition.
