Meetings – Open to all
Programme 2012 |
Subject |
| 9th February | Peter Slack, 3rd generation hill farmer in the Peak District National Park and experienced after dinner speaker, will talk about his experiences with, amongst other things, ramblers, electric fences and sheep. Should be an entertaining afternoon |
| 8th March | Angela Gilmore, who is from Goostrey, recently returned from a three month visit to the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and will speak about her experiences there. |
| 12th April | David Whatton QPM, Chief Constable of Cheshire. We are very fortunate to have Mr Whatton as our April speaker. We are hoping that there will be an opportunity for members to ask the Chief Constable questions at the end of his talk. Full details later. |
| 10th May (AGM) | Geoff Scargill - I have never left school. Geoff is a familiar speaker to many members - his talk this time is the first one he has done without 'music' in the title. |
| 14th June | Ernest Rea - ex director of BBC Religious Affairs |
